Our research lab brings together researchers from Spain, Finland, Italy, and the Netherlands, working collaboratively to explore and understand the conditions and factors that promote the identity of the teacher as a researcher in initial and continuous teacher training. Our aim is to provide evidence to improve the initial and continuous training of teachers and generate new knowledge to facilitate teachers' participation in research and to develop research-informed practices in schools.
We know that knowledge about promoting the research identity of teachers is still insufficient in Europe. Understanding the social, cultural, and contextual conditions that facilitate research-informed schools could improve education.
